Weakerthans
According to punknews.org: "The Weakerthans have linked a deal with Epitaph Records. The Winnipeg Sun says 'the band has been recording in Toronto, and are hoping for a summer release for their forthcoming disc.'"

Hopeless/Sub City Records & Equal Vision
Two of indie rock's most respected record labels, Southern California's Hopeless/Sub City Records and New York's Equal Vision Records, are teaming up for a joint showcase at this year's SXSW Music + Media Conference. The showcase will take place on Saturday March 15th at Emo's Jr. at 7pm and will feature 3 bands from each label's roster.
