Anti-Flag
Today www.anti-flag.com was given a new face. The new
site includes some new sections such as downloads and
gossip and some brand new articles. To celebrate the
new website Anti-Flag have released a new song recorded
in Germany just 3 weeks ago with their friends the Donots.

Less Than Jake
The highly anticipated new Less Than Jake CD "Anthem"
comes out on May 20th. You'll be able to check out an
mp3 with clips from each song on Anthem on the Less
Than Jake website and at www.mp3.com/lessthanjakefbr
soon. LTJ are gearing up for their huge tour with New
Found Glory and Good Charlotte. A limited edition split
CD between Less Than Jake and Fall Out Boy will be passed
out on this tour. 2000 of them will be given away at
each show so make sure you get one. Two FOB songs and
one LTJ song will be on it.
Curl Up And Die Finishes Recording
EP's
Nevada's Curl Up And Die has returned home following
the recording of two EP’s with Kurt Ballou in Boston.
The first of the two releases will hit stores in April
11th via Status Recordings, and the second in June on
Revelation Records. The recorded series will be entitled
"We Can Be Through with The Past…But The Past Isn't
Through With Us." Curl Up And Die "We Can Be Through
With The Past…" CDep will be available as a pre-order
from Status Recordings (www.statusinc.com) in a week.
The 6 song CDep is $6.00 postage paid. These are all
new songs and they are only available on this release.
All pre orders ship out in early April. In touring news,
the group will start Spring West Coast tour with Since

Watch It Burn Has A New Guitar
Player
From the Rise Records website: "Watch it Burn has a
new guitar player. Chad Dolezal is officially in the
band. He relocated from Austin, TX were he played in
The Victory Drive. Dave, the former guitar player, and
WIB mutually agreed to end the relationship."
Statistics Signs To Jade Tree
Records
Jade Tree welcomes the wonderful Statistics to the label
family. Omaha, Nebraska’s all-star Statistics is the
new band from Desaparecidos founder, main songwriter
and guitarist Denver Dalley. Jade Tree will be release
the Statistics self-titled debut, Statistics CD EP on
June 17 (available for pre-order April 1).
Turbonegro
By now, you have heard that the mighty Turbonegro is
hitting the road with none other than Queens Of The
Stoned Age! They will be doing a ton of dates with QOTSA,
but they will also be doing a series of one-off headlining
dates on their own. Tickets for the QOTSA shows are
going fast, so if you miss out on those, you can hopefully

Turbonegro Album Cover
The new Turbonegro album "Scandinavian Leather" is due
out on May 6th and world-renowned artist, Klaus Voorman
has created the album cover. Voormann created the Grammy
award winning album art for the Beatles 1965 album "Revolver".

The Suicide Machines are headed into the studio this
weekend to start work on their upcoming album on SideOneDummy.
They will be recording at the Blasting Room in Ft. Collins,
CO. with Bill Stevenson (Black Flag, Descendents, ALL).

By Definition and Battle Hymns with a mix of some fucking

Support The Useless I.D Documentary
Punk filmmaker Liz Nord is working on a D.I.Y. documentary
of Israel's internationally touring punk band, Useless
I.D. You may have seen Useless I.D. on tour in the U.S.
or on last year's Warped Tour, or heard their records
on Kung Fu. In Israel, it's still PUNK to be a punk
band, and Useless I.D.'s story needs to be told now,
as the Middle East situation heats up and the region
becomes more and more conservative.
Hopeless/Sub City Records & Equal
Vision
Two of indie rock's most respected record labels, Southern
California's Hopeless/Sub City Records and New York's
Equal Vision Records, are teaming up for a joint showcase
at this year's SXSW Music + Media Conference. The showcase
will take place on Saturday March 15th at Emo's Jr.
at 7pm and will feature 3 bands from each label's roster.
Representing EVR will be The Rocking Horse Winner, This
Day Forward and Armor for Sleep. Performing for Hopeless/Sub
City will be Stairwell, Avenged Sevenfold and Against
All Authority. The Hopeless/Sub City/Equal Vision Records
Showcase will start on Saturday March 15th at Emo's
Jr. (Address: 603 Red River) Austin, TX.
Voice Of A Generation
Voice Of A Generation got a brand new website, it looks
really cool. Check it out here. Also, the band will
release two split 7" singles during spring 2003. The
first one with The Creetins on Diapazam/Vitaminenpillen,
and the second one with Berlins kings of punk Frontkick.
This one will be released by the Spanish label Bronco
Bullfrog.
Weakerthans
According to punknews.org: "The Weakerthans have inked
a deal with Epitaph Records. The Winnipeg Sun says 'the
band has been recording in Toronto, and are hoping for
a summer release for their forthcoming disc.'" No official
word has been posted on epitaph.com but a call was made
by Tonni at Epitaph to confirm the signing with the
punknews.org staff and to correct the rumors about them
signing to Anti- a subdivision of Epitaph.
AFI "Sing The Sorrow" Special
Package
AFI has put together a special package for the Sing
The Sorrow release. Now we have more details to announce:
The special package will go on sale April 1st We don't
know what the price will be at your favorite record
store, but we can tell you that it will probably run
around $10 more than the cost of a regular CD. It's
a limited edition release and once they're sold out,
they're gone for good. To recap what we told you last
time, the Sing The Sorrow special edition contains:
1. Sing The Sorrow CD, 2. Collectable hardcover book
with over 60 pages of lyrics, illustrations, and notes,
3. "Clandestine" DVD featuring 5 audio tracks mixed
in 5.1 surround sound, and the short film "Clandestine"
by AFI.
